Tunisia’s InstaDeep is Building AI-based Decision-Making Platform for Enterprises

InstaDeep was founded in 2014 by Karim Beguir, a Google Machine Learning Developer Expert. The startup delivers AI-powered decision-making systems for Enterprises. With expertise in both machine intelligence research and concrete business deployments, they provide a competitive advantage to their customers in an AI-first world.

InstaDeep is leveraging its expertise in GPU-accelerated computing, deep learning and reinforcement learning, machine learning, predictive analysis and has built AI systems to tackle the most complex challenges across a range of industries and sectors. The startup offers a host of AI solutions, ranging from optimized pattern-recognition, GPU-accelerated insights, to self-learning decision making systems.

Life and business are always about decisions, this is why Instadeep harnesses the power of reinforcement learning to create systems that can make decisions on their own based on their own autonomous training and also to improve efficiency in several industries, including manufacturing, logistics, mobility and energy, thus, increasing ROI.

Also, as regards GPU-accelerated insights, when you try to deploy AI in your business, computer power is key. A multi-GPU setup can end up being messy and complicated, and this is where Instadeep comes in, using Nvidia’s DGX-1 (one of the most powerful AI machines on the market) to help clients achieve insane computing power to solve even the most intensive AI problems.

Instadeep also helps with optimized deep learning which delivers high-performance AI for pattern recognition yet is notoriously time-consuming to fine-tune. What Instadeep does is that it helps to boost this process to save their clients time and money on their computer vision, natural language processing or predictive analytics project.

“Through our own cutting-edge research, we have developed a platform that goes beyond what we have seen in AI applications in the past, it can tackle challenging optimization and automation challenges in dynamic and complex environments such as, but not limited to, mobility, logistics, manufacturing and energy. We already see that our product is providing real value and ROI for our clients” said Co-Founder and CEO of InstaDeep, Karim Beguir. Many fields can benefit greatly from this technology, such as, robotics, mobility, logistics, finance or healthcare.

In May 2019, Instadeep raised 6.3 million Euro in Series A funding led by the pan-African private equity firm AfricInvest, with participation from Endeavour Catalyst, a New York-based co-investment fund.
