Omugwo is Connecting Nursing Mothers with Nannies and Care Givers in Nigeria

Nursing mothers can relate to the stress that comes with taking care of a new born baby. It is a tradition in Nigeria for nursing mothers to have their mothers around during this period to help with taking care of and raising the child. But in a situation where the nursing mother has lost her mother, the task of taking care of the child at infant stage becomes a frustrating one.

Omugwo was launched to fill in this gap

The online platform was founded by Ahiakwo Ugochukwu, and aims to connect child care givers and nannies to take care of babies, nursing mothers and elderly people.

Omugwo provides people with professional, healthy, hardworking and sincere care givers who have been well trained to meet the needs of their clients. They do a thorough screening and background check of every nanny listed on their platform.

According to Ahiakwo, “Because of the welfare of nursing mothers and their babies is why we are in business. We spend extra time and resources to give our nannies top notch training and medical screening”.

Their  services are not just for nursing mothers and babies, they offer trained nannies for elderly people.
